For the past two weeks I have been keeing Ariel busy researching Maryknoll Magazine and Revista stories, watching Maryknoll videos and reading other Maryknoll materials to come up with stories that put a human face on one or more of the 5 themes that we highlighted in the voter reflection guides. If you have such stories or are in contact with Maryknollers in the field who send you newsletters and other materials that contain such stories, please don't hold them close to your vest!!! We could sure use them!
Some time today we ought to be stuffing folders to send to San Diego's affiliate group which will hold an event next Saturday (April 12). They requested information on Economic Justice, Immigration and Peace and Security.
This week I am also keeping Judy and Yami busy as they are converting these one page items into pdf format and adding them to our web site. That way all the materials will be downloadable -- so that organizers of the future events can download just the materials they see most appropriate to use for their target audiences.
We are awaiting the arrival of 100 copies of the US Bishops' statement "Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship" which will also include in the packet.
