Mail Chimp -- It's a whole new world

I've signed us up for "Mail Chimp," a service similar to Constant Contact, which we can use to send out action alerts and NewsNotes.

Today I sent out an action alert to the 606 people on our alert list, and have spent a good chunk of the day watching the results on the Mail Chimp website -- 13 people opened it, 25 people opened it, 50 people opened it. One forward! Nine people clicked on the Platform for the Common Good link ... 19 people clicked on the Platform for the Common Good ... Seven people have clicked on the link for the English version of the PDF election guide, and one person has clicked on the Spanish version of the PDF election guide.

This is becoming addicting! It's great to know that someone out there is responding to the alerts. It's not a huge amount of people at this point, but it's only been a few hours so far.
