Meg's update: 6-22-12: Global Women of Faith Network

Jackie Ogega, Project Manager, updated the members on what has been achieved to date during her tenure as director of the program. 30 national networks have been established globally. National peacebuilding efforts, example in Burundi, has actively trained and mobilized religious leaders, men, women, and youth in conflict transformation processes as well as gender-based violence; training sessions, trauma healing on truth and reconciliation processes have proven successful. Awareness and action on women's empowerment and its linkages with poverty, and health continue to show positive results.
