H.E.Nassir Al-Nasser, President of the UN GA opened today's Thematic Debate on Drugs & Crime, highlighting the significant growth in illicit trafficking of drugs, people, firearms and natural resources, all of which
have negative effects on development, peace and security posed by transnational crime; the most vulnerable population being those in developing countries, and the most targeted are women and children.
Member State representatives followed in turn reiterating the need for an integrated program that secured the advancement of each country through eradification of all forms of corruption brought through
drug and crime trafficking in its many forms.
