WGG Plans for - CSW 53: Theme: "The equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including caregiving in the context of HIV/AIDS"

The wheels are spinning toward February - March, 2009, international meeting at the U.N.
From early May until early August, our planning chairperson, Sister Ann Scholz, SSND, has outlined tasks that work groups will be asked to assist with, such as, the necessary research and writing, advocacy to mission sites, side-events during the meetings, girls activities, etc.
Ann has been involved at the U.N. for many years, and her expertise is five stars at whatever she does. It will be a pleasure to work with her and other colleagues in preparing and during this U.N. annual event. I have chosen to assist with Advocacy Tasks, ie. lobbying member state representatives during CSW, and taking part in mission visits. More later.
