Meg's update: April 30th, Human Trafficking Event

A book signing event took place this afternoon at the Salvation Army's International Social Justice Commission. Mr. Steve Chalke, author of "Stop The Traffik", with a chapter by Cherie Blair highlighted the event. The book details the global reality of this horrific phenomena, enslaving millions of women and children. Their stories speak of lives betrayed, hopes lost, and dreams unfulfilled through inhuman behavior of predators who prey on the vulnerability of the most disadvantaged in our world. This book is a "must read" and challenges the readers to become actively involved in one's own community to lessen this modern day form of slavery.
