Janet Nixon, a member of our WGG shared her vast experience in the U.S.
diplomatic service; also as the Chief of Protocol at the US Mission to the UN. An update on all the task forces and their activities were given. From March Ist to the 4th, our members will conduct workshops on the Girls Caucus, Sexual Exploitation of Girls; a Review of Promises to Girls: CSW 51, and an interesting Girl/Boy Dialogue. Several of us signed up to visit Mission State representatives at their offices to further push for promotion and protection, on all levels, for women and children. Our group will also be giving a presentation at the DPI NGO Briefing on April 1st at the new UN North Bldg. It is entitled: "Girl's Education: An End to Poverty.
