Teammates, all: I think I am going crazy: I saw the following in a report I was reading on the MDG's:
"The latest estimates by the World Bank put the number of people living in extreme poverty in the developing world higher than previously thought, due to the new threshold to measure extreme poverty rising from $1 to $1.25 to account for purchasing power parity." Given the cost of a latte (I think; don't tend to buy them), this seems to me "extreme lunacy". (Not sure if the blog is for this, but had to get it off my chest...looking for hope!).
