Working Group on Girls met this afternoon to further plan for the CSW 53 International Meeting. The first meeting of three this afternoon dealt with planning around our sub-committee activities. I reported, an activity from our Advocacy group, was a visit to the special representative of SADC asking for her cooperation toward efforts our group will be presenting
at the 53rd meeting to further protect children throughout our world. A statement has been submitted to the planning committee for consideration and hopefully for a positive response from
Member State representatives.
Our Task Force on Advocacy and Treaty Legislation met to further strategize our next steps in meeting Mission representatives.
