Dr. Riane Eisler, World Renowned Speaker and Author, named her address, "The Real Wealth of Nations: From Global Warming to Global Partnerships". Dr. Eisler gave an marvelous presentation to a full audience as she demonstrated through example after example that the Domination theory, long in existence globally, can only be corrected through cultural shifts in attitudes, beliefs, and institutions, leading to Global Partnership. Her research draws from the book, "The Chalice and The Blade: Our History, Our Future", that showed there were strong indications that the first cradles of civilization oriented,more to partnership side of the continuum. In her latest book, "The Real Wealth of Nations" she proposes a new approach to economics that gives visibility and value to the most essential human work: the work of caring for people and our planet. She offered practical proposals to address Global Warming:
The richer nations, wich have contributed so much more to GW need to contribut more to mitigation and amelioration to help poorer nations, and importantly, protection for the most vulnerable -women, children, and the elderly.
